International Tennis Professional | Director of Tennis | US & UK Tennis Consultant
With more than 35 years of experience in tennis across the UK and USA, I have built a career spanning coaching, programme development, tennis management, club operations and player pathways.
I have coached thousands of players, worked as a Director of Tennis, owned and operated an indoor tennis centre, developed programmes for juniors and adults, and helped players and families understand opportunities within US tennis, college tennis and the wider international game. Having spent more than three decades living and working in the United States, I bring a valuable UK–USA perspective to coaching, tennis development and consultancy.
My coaching philosophy is straightforward: every player deserves to feel challenged, supported and inspired. Progress comes from combining sound technical coaching with encouragement, clear goals and an enjoyable environment. When people enjoy learning, they improve more quickly, develop greater confidence and stay involved in the sport for longer.
Over the years, I've been fortunate to coach players of all ages and abilities—from complete beginners to advanced competitors. I've organised holiday camps, family tennis days, corporate events, school programmes, social competitions and community initiatives, always aiming to make tennis welcoming and accessible to everyone.
As the sport continues to evolve with the growth of padel and pickleball alongside tennis, I remain passionate about helping clubs and organisations embrace new opportunities while maintaining high standards of coaching, member engagement and programme delivery.
My passion for tennis comes from its ability to bring people together. After more than three decades in the profession, I continue to be inspired by the people I meet, the communities I help build, and the positive impact the sport can have on lives. For me, success isn't measured solely by trophies or rankings—it's measured by the confidence gained, friendships formed and opportunities created through the game of tennis.
